Evan Rodrigues and his wife Christina welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on Sunday. The couple announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram, with Christina sharing a photo of the newborn and writing, "Welcome to the world, sweet baby girl! We are so happy to have you in our lives."

Rodrigues and Christina have been married since 2016 and have a 2-year-old boy named Noah. The couple met while attending Boston University, where Rodrigues played hockey and Christina was a cheerleader.

Rodrigues is currently in his third season with the Pittsburgh Penguins after previously playing for the Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs. He has recorded 10 goals and 25 assists in 50 games this season.

The Penguins are scheduled to play the New York Islanders on Tuesday night at PPG Paints Arena. It is unclear if Rodrigues will be available for the game as he is expected to be with his wife and newborn daughter.
